Q. I am lactose intolerant, can I take Premama?

Premama’s Dha is derived from a plant source that actually contains traces of milk, but Premama is still Lactate free and can be taken by those with lactose intolerance.

Q. When should I begin taking Premama?

Premama is most effective if taken:

  • While trying to conceive
  • During pregnancy
  • While breastfeeding

Some doctors and organizations, such as the March of Dimes, suggest all women between the ages of 15 – 50 take prenatal supplements, like Premama, every day, as about 50% of all pregnancies are unplanned.

Q. Is Premama FDA approved?

Premama and many other prenatal supplements are over-the-counter (OTC) drugs. They fall under the ‘supplement’ category and do not require FDA approval. Facilities at which Premama is produced and packaged are FDA-approved for the nutrients they handle, their cleanliness and their conduct. They are also USP Verified.

Q. What type of allergens are in Premama?

Premama contains traces of milk and soybean.

Premama is nut-free, gluten-free, egg-free, fish-free, shellfish-free, sulfite-free, and tree nut-free.

For further questions with respect to allergens please feel free to contact us at 401-345-9774 or by email at info@drinkpremama.com.

Q. Where is Premama Made?

Premama is produced in USP (United States Pharmacopeia) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved facilities based in the United States. Premama uses only the highest quality, natural ingredients.

Q. Why is Premama’s iron content lower than the traditional 27mg of Iron?

Premama uses a special iron blend that has been clinically proven on its own to be the most absorbent type of iron. Traditional pills typically contain 27mg of iron because only about 15% of that is absorbed by the body, while the rest is unused. The unused iron could lead to iron poisoning and is a common cause of nausea and constipation. Premama’s iron is very absorbent, as 10mg of Premama’s iron will have the same amounts absorbed as 27mg of other prenatal supplements iron, providing nausea- and digestive-relief.*

Q. What should I mix Premama with?

Premama tastes best with juice, fruit flavored beverages, iced tea and milk. While fine with water, there may be a hint of ginger. Premama should not be mixed with sodas or hot beverages.

Premama’s ingredients are encapsulated to mask the flavors of the nutrients. Over time this encapsulation breaks down and the nutrients’ tastes are exposed. This may happen more quickly in some drinks compared to others. However, this does not have a negative effect on the vitamins themselves nor on the body’s absorption of the vitamins. There may be a mild effect on taste.

This is why we strongly recommend adding Premama to your favorite juice, milk, or iced tea, and consuming it within 5 minutes after mixing. Flavored versions of Premama are now in development.

Q. Is Premama Gluten Free?

Yes, Premama is Gluten Free.

Q. Does Premama’s packaging contain BPA?

No, Premama’s packaging is completely BPA free.

    :

I am expecting my 4th child in June. Premama allows me to easily space out the vitamin dose throughout the day, which reduces nausea and cravings. I wish it had been available 6 years ago!

    :

I was introduced to Premama at an Expo in Las Vegas. I am only 25 years old. I am not pregnant, nor planning to get pregnant any time soon, but I was taking a daily multivitamin. Even that pill was large, and I prefer the powdered delivery method much more. I know that I should be on a prenatal supplement, or at least a Folic acid supplement, from now until menopause, at least thats what I am told, and I could not enjoy a supplement more than I enjoy Premama. Plus my hair and nails are growing like crazy!!!

I am now 5 months pregnant, and the thought of taking these horse pills they call prenatal pills is annoying. They are either huge, or they come in two’s! Can’t anyone package all the vitamins we need in one small little tablet for us to take? Of course not.

But, thankfully, someone decided to put all the vitamins we need into a powdered drink mix. Simply mix it in with either water, or fruit juice, and ta-da! Easier to take! When taking with water, it actually has a ginger-y taste to it. But with juice (I took it with grape juice) I didn’t taste anything at all.

This wonderful new concoction is called Premama. It isdoctor recommended, provides nausea relief, is 100%natural, and has only 6 calories. It contains everything we need as pregnant, or breast feeding, women. It has the Folic Acid, Iron and DHA that is recommended. It also helps with digestive relief, so we can spend less time being, for lack of a better term, backed up.

You would simply mix the powder into your favorite juice (or water) and drink it twice a day. I do once when I wake up, and later with dinner. It would have been nice to have this earlier in my pregnancy, I was so nauseous, it was insane! This would have been such a great help.

Whats great about this, for me, is that I can take it on the go. If I know I am going to be out, I can go ahead, and throw a packet in my purse and drink it later on while I am out. Which is much easier (in my opinion) than taking a bottle of pills, or two bottles (for those that have 2 pills, such as One-A-Day prenatals).

I am so grateful I found your product. It has changed my life. I used to be tired and unbalanced – and since starting Premama two months ago, I feel great – like never before – and I’m not even pregnant. My daughter is 2, but I gave up taking pre-natals because they made me feel sick and nothing has had such a big impact on my daily energy level as your formula. My husband thanks you too!

    :

I have been trying the first samples of Premama and greatly prefer it over the pill. I find that it tastes best when mixed with plain milk, OJ, or any other juice, even iced tea.

    :

I could not stomach those large prenatal pills. They made me so sick and I just could not keep them down, so I stopped taking them. My husband urged me to continue on them for both the health of me and my baby, but I could not do it, until I found Premama. Premama is not just talk, it solves all the problems I faced and I wish it was around for my first child as well. I will recommend this to all of my friends.

I can’t live without my Premama, time to re-order…I am just crazy about Premama!

Premama is the best prenatal vitamin I have ever come across

    :

I, myself am trying out Premama and am crazy impressed. My morning sickness has been so much less since using it instead of pills. It truly is tasteless and that’s a rare find. It’s at the top of my list for our September issue “editor’s picks”.

    :

If I had known about Premama I would have been ALL OVER THAT with every pregnancy.

I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking to find an easier, more tolerable vitamin.

    :

I’ve tried drink mixes and energy stuff that says they mix completely and they don’t, and it’s gross. Premama is actually tasteless, which I love. It doesn’t upset my stomach at all like some other supplements do, which is a relief for me. I wish I had known about this when I was pregnant with my boys, it would have been so much easier then the pills I was taking.

    :

Thank god I found your product, I didn’t have a huge problem with prenatal pills, but the energy I get from Premama is AMAZING!

I’ve already told all my friends, even those who aren’t expecting.
